You can gift SadServers Professional to anyone. This is done with a simple form on the gift page and you don’t need to have a SadServers account to do it.

Gifting SadServers is a one-time purchase, i.e. it’s not a recurring subscription.

Gift SadServers is an excellent low-cost choice for companies that offer Professional Development (Career Development) or training stipends for their employees.

How it Works

It’s a frictionless two-step process:

Purchasing

Go to the gift page and on that page:

• Select the plan length. Longer plans are discounted.
• Enter the recipient’s email. You can enter multiple email addresses, separated by commas or new lines. This is convenient if you are buying for a team for example. The total cost will be the displayed individual cost times the number of users (i.e., email addresses). This total will be shown on the Stripe checkout page.
• Optionally, enter a message for the receiver(s) of the gift. This will be included in the email they receive.
• You can choose so send the gift anonymously or not. If not, you may optionally enter your Signature (e.g. your name) and your email address.

Once the Stripe checkout is complete, an email message with a gift code will be sent to all recipients. You’ll also receive a confirmation email.

Redeeming

Redeeming is as simple as clicking the link in the gift email. This will lead to a confirmation page. Click on the “Redeem Now” button and your account will be upgraded to Professional.

If you are not logged into your SadServers account, you will be asked to log in. If you don’t have a SadServers account yet, you will be prompted to create one.

The duration of the gift plan purchased will start counting from the time the gift is redeemed.

Terms

The SadServers Gift program is subject to our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for the users accepting the gift.

SadServers Pro gifts don’t expire (i.e., they don’t need to be redeemed within a certain time).

In general, the SadServers Gift works like a gift card – except unlike many of them, ours do not expire (i.e. can be redeemed at any time). They are transferable and can’t be refunded, even if unused.

SadServers gifts are based on a secret code.If the recipient chooses not to redeem the gift, they can share the code with someone else. The buyer doesn’t have direct access to the secret gift code.

The gift (the secret gift code) can only be redeemed once.

SadServers gifts are non-refundable.
